How the Bank Conducts Its Procurements

The Bank does not participate in contracts executed by the General Services Administration and is not allowed to purchase goods or services off of federal supply schedules.

The Bank uses competitive procedures, which include requests for quotations and requests for proposals, to acquire the goods and services needed from pre-qualified suppliers. The Bank awards contracts to those suppliers that best meet its needs in terms of price, quality, availability and service. In most circumstances, the Bank issues its requests for quotations and proposals electronically and requires suppliers to submit their quotations or proposals electronically.
