Senior Research Economist
Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
Jian Wang is a senior research economist
at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He joined the
Dallas Fed in October 2006. His primary research interests
include open economy macroeconomics, international finance
and monetary economics. He has worked on the topics
such as optimal exchange rate policy, the exchange rate
pass-through and the exchange rate determination.
Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, Jian Wang taught at
the University of Wisconsin at Madison and spent time
at the Bank of England. He holds a PhD in economics
from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and an
MA from the University of Arkansas—Fayetteville.
